Lilly : born 5-03-91 out of Little Pet ABC 370 and Peacock's Banner ABC 470   15.1 hand beautiful roan sabino mare who is a "been there, done that" kind of gal.
Lilly loves ring work, enjoys road and trail, and jumping. She is currently being used as a therapeutic lesson horse. She goes english or western and has been shown extensively in a variety of disciplines. She is such an exemplary mare, she has her own "page" here.  Lilly has an outstanding broodmare history as well, passing on size and style and winning talent.  Her gaits are smooth, forward and comfortable. Excellent health, sound - a super mare with a lot of great years ahead to bring much joy to her rider.

OYY TIPPATINA-dob 4-30-01 ICHO 912-S, CSI S005524-01  bright chestnut filly out of our beloved Teena- grade mare with a history of memorable curly foals with unbelievable disposition- and Colonel's Reuben. Tippy drove every few days next to her mom- she is gorgeous and big. She has sisters who are very curly, who have delivered fabulous curly foals.   Tippy is a very chunky 14.3 hands.

Tippy wears her mother's harness now ! She delivered a beautiful curly bay colt - OYY Jockomo who will no doubt also make a fabulous driving horse like his mom and Grand-mother, and his Dad !!

Tippy has been out on the road meeting traffic and mailboxes without reaction- driving on highway as well.  She loves to trot out and enjoys herself. She has been up and down hills with 2 passengers and steps over beautifully for tight turns. She's a lovely forward willing mare- an outstanding cart horse and will make a super competitive drive mare- potential for combined driving also.   Pulling the cart through fairly rough trail does not bother Tippy- she is up for a challenge with a good attitude.

There are still less than 4000  living registered Curly horses in the world! Due to the rarity of these unique and wonderful horses- it will be difficult to find a horse that matches your exact needs of color and/or training level. Most people purchase young stock and raise/train themselves. This may seem like a long wait- but it is a gratifying experience and not impossible with a Curly. They are quick to learn, sensible and responsive; they want to please their owners.

A 50% deposit will hold any horse for 30 days- or in the case of a youngster- until weaning. Abandoned deposit will be forfeited. All the horses for sale are registered with the ABC Registry when eligible, except geldings. Most geldings are eligible for ABC registration- this will be at the choice and expense of buyer. All paperwork will be provided by seller. Horses  will also be registered with the ICHO.

To check out the ICHO, go to   http://www.curlyhorses.org/   For the ABC registry site- click here- www.abcregistry.org
